Get It Together Organizing
My birthday was two weeks ago and my daughter threw the most fun party for me!
She invited six of my closest friends with the cleverest invitations. Everyone was talking about them at the party. Her decorations enhanced the theme and added to the fun. She carried the same theme throughout starting with the invitations, the decorations and carried it even down to the gifts she gave me.
1. Decide what the Purpose of the party will be-birthday, anniversary, holiday etc.
2. What Kind of party will it be-casual, formal, sit down, buffet, outdoors etc.
3. How many people will be invited? Consider time and space when planning how many people you want at the party. Also the mix of people is important. The closer they are in age the less work it will turn out to be.
4. What Time will it be held and do you have a time it will end?
5. What is your Budget for everything?
6. Location
7. Invitations This is the start of the party and can entice people to want to come.
8. Theme/Décor Will you have music, gifts, what kind of lighting, decorations or no decorations 9. What kind of Food and Drinks will you serve?
10. Activities/Prizes
With smart planning you can always have a fun and successful party any time of the year. Parties don't have to be elaborate or cost a lot of money for people to want to come or for people to have fun.
